The Walpole Island Employment & Training Program delivers and develops employment and training services to all Walpole Island members, whether their residency is on or off-reserve. We provide our community members with the right tools and resources to reach their full potential.

I took the opportunity to get funding for training to go back to truck driving as that was what I loved the most out of all the work l've done. When i got the funding, I was ecstatic! I could not believe that they were willing to help me get back into my dream job. They made sure that things were going well the entire way. I can't say enough about how grateful I am.

I submitted my resume into a local eatery in my area and did not receive a call back for an interview. I went to Employment and Training and worked with Employment Consultant, Hannah to develop and edit my resume. I then resubmitted my newly updated resume to the same eatery and received a call for an interview the next day and was hired.
